For the Caribbean waves,,,I guess you should make sure your swimsuit has straps….

Laughter

 I’m always laughing

For some reason funny things always seem to be passing through my mind.I love to laugh. Laughing is very much a part of who I am.

People that possess the complex willingness to unknowingly humiliate themselves are usually the most interesting to me. I mean I don’t want to be one laughing at other people but when they are just so damn funny.I can’t help it.I sometimes wonder if people in the Caribbean are born with funny bones. They seem to do the funniest things in really inappropriate moments. Rolling laughter emoticon (Laughing Emoticons)

I don’t think you should laugh to make fun of someone but to lighten up your heart. but then again, what the hell, when people stop doing really stupid stuff,I guess others will stop making fun of them.

believe it or not in all of my laughter,I can’t really stand girls giggling all the time, It annoys me.People that think they are so tech savvy they should say lol in a conversation also really pisses me of,,,lol

. 84 Chewing clip art ...

On a serious note:The Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting, abbreviated to CHOGM, is a summit meeting of the heads of government from all Commonwealth nations.

Every two years the meeting is held in a different member state. The meeting is chaired by that nation's respective Prime Minister or President.

The CHOGM is to be hosted in the city of Port of Spain in the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago on November 27-29, 2009.
At the 2007 summit held in Uganda, Commonwealth Heads of Government confirmed their decision to meet in Trinidad and Tobago in 2009.

The CHOGM meets every two years to review global, economical and political developments and also to conduct strategic overviews of the Commonwealth's work in support of the interests of its member countries.

The objective of the 2009 Commonwealth Summit is to engage leaders of the Commonwealth in discussing global and Commonwealth issues and to agree upon collective policies and initiatives.

Life’s Race

It’s funny the way people seem to want to tell you about how your life isn’t being fulfilled, once your not struggling in a rat race.

I wonder exactly who charts the course that determines the winners.

If a few people must struggle to achieve the things they want,,,does that mean we all have to.

What about all the differences life is made up of.Is there any room for those that enjoy a comfortable life, without being judged negatively.

I wonder at the end who really wins the race,

especially when everyone seems to be running in a different direction…..

Should thoughts be strictly in black and white or
can it be in
colour
A mind full of colour and contrast, from far seems to be so confusing...

What a great idea for a Carnival band: 'The True Colours Of The Caribbean Mind". - just saying

Bob Marley

Bob Marley Could Top “The Rich Dead Celeb List"

BobMarley

Bob Marley could end up being the richest dead celebrity.

Twenty-eight years after Bob Marley’s death, he is still making quite an impact. Hilco Consumer Capital,a private equity firm in Toronto closed on a management deal with the Bob Marley estate that is predicted to bring in approximately $1 billion. New products in Marley's name, from consumer electronics and video games to a skin-care line, are still being negotiated and created. There is already a Marley Resort in the Bahamas and plans for a resort chain is also an option.

The family hopes that by taking a proactive stance they can avoid over-commercializing the Bob Marley name but also keep bootleggers from taking part in a counterfeit merchandise industry worth an estimated $600 million.

It seems there is a lot of money to be made off this music legend.

Explanations

Some People Just don’t get it.

Have you ever come across an individual who never seem to get it. You try explaining simple things to them, but they just can’t seem to understand. Or in every conversation they always have a hard time comprehending what’s going. They don’t even seem to have a clear sight on whats going on around them while it’s happening... I mean you can even become aggravated trying to explain something to this person and they still wouldn’t get it.

Is everything hidden in plain sight,,,

Imagine bring a new idea to this type of person. Come on, find some kind of perspective…..

Usain Bolt

2009 World Champion

All of the Caribbean supported Bolt when he took part in the August 2009 World Championships.Bolt eased through the 100 m heats, clocking the fastest ever pre-final performance. He also went on to win the 200 m race by the biggest margin in the World Championship history.

Usain Bolt

Support Throughout the Caribbean

Just trying to tell it like it is, or maybe,,,the way I feel it is.

EU Guy: is the whole Caribbean supporting Bolt, even though he is from Jamaica.

Me: yes, of course

EU Guy: Strange

Me: Why strange?

EU Guy:He is from Jamaica, that would be like the whole EU supporting an athletic from say,,,Germany,or Sweden, or even Denmark or wherever. That would be crazy.

So trying to put this conversation in some kind of coherent story line,,, Unlike the EU, we support each other. A victory for one seems allot of times like a victory for us all.

Do you think people can actually drain the good spirit out of you???

Bleaching Cream

Dear Diary
Recently I was looking at a documentary on Bleaching Creams and the doctor interviewed (not a Caribbean doctor) mentioned that this is quite popular in the Caribbean and I thought what the hell is he talking about.
Now don’t get me wrong,,,I mean there are people using it to lighten there complexion, but in my mind this was a really small portion of people in the Caribbean using these creams for this reason, maybe even to small to be mentioned. My impression was that these creams were used in the Caribbean mainly for removal of dark spots
Then I saw this clip,,,,

Disappointment for Chicago as our emerging South American neighbour Brazil gets to host the 2016 games.
The International Olympics Committee selected Brazil as the site for the 2016 summer games.
This is the first time a South American country gets to host the games.
This great city now has the World as it's audience as it gets to channel its passion into a spectacular event.

P S-The 2012 Olympics will be held in London, from July 27th to August 12th.

Congratulations

Congratulations to Tami Chynn and Wayne Marshall.
Jamaican couple Wayne Marshall and Tami Chynn made it official.
The wedding was reportedly at a secret location in Jamaica.

They make a cute couple.

I know this is a little late but,,,

donned in the September issue of the Italian Vogue is one of the Caribbean own 'Rihanna'.
The black, white and platinium spread was shot by photographer Steven Klein. These were some of the most artistic and outstanding shots of Rihanna I've seen so far.

To all the critics out there,,, this was quite awesome and a great comeback for Rihanna.

Ok ok, besides all the controversy surrounding these pics, and to those who think it's a little bit out there.

Have a second look, maybe then you'll be able to fully appreciate this work.

Seriously though,,, I thought these shots were amazing!

Little Things

Little Things

Isn't it funny how little things in life can make you happy.

I guess allot of little things are the things that come together to make one big picture.
